This afternoon Ava and Jocelyn set off on a great adventure: spending the night at Nonnie and Pappy's house just the two of them. After we saw Ben's parents last weekend, I suddenly realized that just because Ben was working non-stop this trip, didn't mean the girls couldn't go off and spend some time with their grandparents on their own. (And in fact, would probably even have more fun doing so.) So we organized a child hand-off this afternoon, with Ben, Molly, and I heading to meet up with everyone tomorrow. These two were SO excited for their special time with Nonnie and Pappy. I am so excited they are getting old enough to have these adventures, and remember them for years to come.
