The Other Side

YAY!!! Today was a total turnaround from yesterday. The girls slept later than they have in weeks, very little arguing occurred, and we were all in a much better head space. Highlight of the day was surviving swimming lessons. Why? Because this week Ben was once again working late, so Molly had to come watch. I was VERY apprehensive about this going well. Sure enough, as soon as we got there Molly was doing all she could to Houdini her way out of the umbrella stroller to join the girls in the pool. But thanks to some fruit snacks, books, and toy princesses, Molly did great and stayed in the stroller with very little complaint the entire time. I cannot even begin to imagine how badly it would have gone had it been yesterday. But once again we were blessed with a new day, and the disasters of yesterday made the successes of today all the sweeter.
